Don't use nail polish

I've read in numerous places on the web and in polymer clay books NOT to use acrylic nail polish. Like some sprays and other unsuitable glazes, it may go on alright, but will deteriorate over time.

Enamel and Polymer

Ummm, some enamel chemically reacts with the polymer, softening the cured clay. This is why you can't use nail polishes on polymer. This is a widely known fact. Basically, don't use anything on polymer that isn't specifically created for use on polymer type materials, otherwise, you will have eternally sticky items.
